4. Press the other surface firmly against the tape.

Please note: Some textiles utilise a silicone treatment to confer scotchguarding, anti-stain properties, soft-feel, or to make printed designs sit on the surface and appear vibrant. This will reduce the efficacy of the tape and in extreme cases may repel the adhesive entirely. We recommend testing a small piece of your fabric with the tape before use and spot-gluing the seam with a clear-drying super glue gel.
