Important Fabric Compatibility Information

Some textiles are treated with silicone to provide stain resistance, Scotchgard-style protection or a softer feel. Silicone treatments may also be used to help printed designs remain on the fabric’s surface and appear more vibrant.

These treatments can reduce the effectiveness of adhesive tape and, in some cases, may prevent it from bonding altogether.

We recommend testing a small piece of your chosen fabric before beginning your project. For additional security, the lampshade seam can be spot-glued with a clear-drying super glue gel.
