Description
Luxurious, silky and smooth are the perfect words to describe our satin fabric. With a lustrous face that provides an even sheen over the fabric, this opaque fabric gives any print an exceptional quality
Usage
Our Satin fabric is versatile and ideal for fashion and furnishings due to its exceptional softness, making it an excellent choice for lampshades and soft furnishings such as curtains and cushions and even upholstery.
Surface Texture
Soft-to-the-touch and smooth, with a slightly glossy surface area our Satin fabric is composed of highly twisted filament yarn. Although not stretchy, it does have a small amount of movement on the bias and the reverse of the fabric is more textured and with a matte finish and a faint show-through from the pattern on the front.
Print process
We use sublimation printing to produce fine details and true colours.
Print Detail
The bright whiteness of the base cloth creates a bold contrast for colour and guarantees a crisp finish. Excellent colour reproduction.

Care Instructions
Wash at 30°C; low tumble dry heat, hang to dry, do not wring, low heat iron.
Shrinkage
Just like many fabric printing processes, there is the potential for shrinkage. Please expect and allow 2-8% shrinkage, which you need to plan for in your dimensions. This percentage can vary from print run to print run and between fabrics, so we advise ordering a little more material than you require for your project.
Preparing your artwork
When the fabric is heated and calendared, it can shrink between (2-8%), so please consider this when supplying your artwork to us.
If you need a precise size, we need the artwork to be slightly bigger.
File Types
Our preference is for High-Resolution JPEG files created in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
Provide your image to us in the RGB colour space and imbed the ICC profile sRGB image (complete profile name is sRGB IEC61966-2.1)
