Our 3 in 1 Seam Roller tool is a fantastic productivity low-cost tool for all lampshade makers producing hand-made rolled-edged lampshades.

The 3 in 1 tool can be used to help with

1, Pressing down Seams using the Main Roller
2, Tucking coverings behind the frame using the External Roller
3, Tucking coverings behind the frame using the Internal Roller

Why do I need a Seam Roller?
The seam roller is a small but mighty essential tool for making lampshades and should not be missing from your accessory kit.
It helps to achieve a permanently fixed seam on the lampshade by applying pressure.
If you are using pressure-sensitive tape (double-sided tape) to seal your lampshade seams, then use this tool to apply pressure to force a strong bond.

How to use - Seams 
After you have applied the tape to the lampshade and joined the seam, place the lampshade on a clean flat hard surface and use this tool to apply firm, even overall, pressure along the seam like the image below. A firm even overall pressure is essential. We recommend using our Seamstick or Tessa tape for secure lampshade seams.

How to use - Finishing
Wheel the mini roller around the inside of the lampshade frame at the correct angle to help tuck your covering behind the frame.

Suitability
The tool is not recommended for use on small lampshades. We recommend 30cm and above
