Free standard UK mainland delivery

On orders over £99 excluding VAT.*

We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, with many in-stock orders dispatched the same or next working day.

For standard UK mainland deliveries, please normally allow 3–5 working days from placing your order, although many orders arrive sooner.

Some products require cutting, reeling, manufacturing or additional packing, which may affect dispatch times.

Dannells will cover the standard UK mainland delivery charge on qualifying orders.

*Supplementary delivery charges may apply to oversized parcels and certain destinations, as explained below.

Understanding our delivery charges

We keep our product prices and delivery charges separate so you can clearly see exactly what you're paying. Calculating delivery costs is not straightforward. Our couriers charge based on the size, weight, and number of parcels dispatched, with additional surcharges for oversized parcels over 120cm in length.

At Dannells, we supply a wide variety of products, from small components to large lampshade frames and rolls of material. Customers often order different combinations of products, so we can't predict the actual delivery cost until we pack and dispatch the order.

To keep things simple, we charge standard delivery rates. As a result, most deliveries cost us considerably more than the amount we charge our customers, and Dannells absorbs the difference.

We continually review our courier arrangements to keep delivery charges as competitive and fair as possible.

When will my order be dispatched?

Our factory dispatches orders Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, with many in-stock orders dispatched the same or next working day.

For standard UK mainland deliveries, please allow 3–5 working days from the date you place your order, although many arrive sooner.

Some products require cutting, reeling, manufacturing or additional packing, which may affect dispatch times.

The courier delivery estimates above start from dispatch, not from the date you order.

Personalised or made-to-order products

Please allow approximately five additional working days, depending on the products ordered.

Please contact our Customer Services team before placing your order if you need it by a particular date. We will do our best to advise you of the earliest possible dispatch and delivery date.

Oversized parcels and fuel surcharges

Like many businesses, we face rising delivery costs.
Our couriers charge additional handling fees for larger and longer parcels, including those over 120cm long.
Charges vary by courier and service.

Most of our materials exceed 120cm in length and require longer packaging to protect them during delivery. Modern courier networks are geared toward smaller parcels that depots and drivers can handle more easily. As a result, businesses like ours are charged additional handling fees for larger parcels, even when the contents are relatively lightweight. We work hard to absorb these extra costs wherever possible, but our products' size can make them more expensive to transport.

We are also regularly charged fuel supplements, which delivery companies adjust as fuel costs change.
These pressures affect many businesses.

Wherever possible, we absorb these additional costs rather than passing every increase on to our customers.

Some oversized parcels or destinations may still incur a supplementary charge, even for orders that qualify for free standard delivery. If a necessary charge has not already been included at checkout, we will explain it and obtain your agreement before proceeding.

Scottish Highlands, islands and remote areas

Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands and certain remote postcodes may take longer and incur additional courier charges.

Charges depend on the destination, size, weight and number of parcels. If we haven't already included an additional charge at checkout, we will contact you with the details and obtain your agreement before proceeding.

European deliveries

We now serve our European customers directly from Dannells in the UK.

European delivery rates are calculated and displayed at checkout.

Add your chosen products to your basket, then enter your delivery address to see the delivery charge before you complete your purchase. The rate depends on your destination and the size, weight and quantity of products ordered.

Orders delivered outside the UK may be subject to local import duties, taxes or customs clearance charges. Any such charges not included in your checkout total are normally your responsibility, unless otherwise agreed.

    

International deliveries outside Europe

We welcome orders from customers worldwide.
Delivery charges depend on the destination and the size and weight of your order.

To request an overseas shipping quotation:

1. Add your selected products to your basket.
2. Open your basket, select your country and choose Estimate as the delivery method.
3. Proceed to checkout and enter your full billing and delivery address.
4. Select Quote for Overseas Shipping as your payment method.

Our team will review your provisional order and email you a delivery quotation. Once you approve it, we will arrange payment and process your order.

Orders may be subject to import duties, local taxes or customs clearance charges. These are normally your responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
