About Kim Tillyer
Born into an artistic family, Kim was always encouraged to paint and draw creatively. In her late 30s she studied for a degree in Textiles and Surface Design at what was Cleveland College of Art and Design (now The Northern School), graduating with first class honours at the age of 40. Kim rediscovered cyanotype a process via an old pack of Sun Print paper someone had given her children, while developing artwork for her degree; from there her blue-and-white adventures began. Kim is creates and sells her fabric and paper cyanotype prints via her website, and is an illustrator and workshop teacher, based in a studio near Keswick in the Lake District, UK.
