Containing all the essential professional lampshade components in one box, simply make, design or choose your covering of choice, whether it be fabric or wallpaper. Developed to offer you the most economical commercial rates possible, a Lampshade Manufacturers pack makes it simple to offer bespoke, handmade lampshades at a profitable mark up.

Very easy to make, full lampshade making instructions are included, plus you can find professional lampshade making kit tutorials on our Dannells YouTube channel. In addition, we’re always happy to support you with our expert knowledge and extensive free resources.

• Pack includes 30 lampshade kits, to be used as a pendant or table lampshade
• Lampshade assembled size is 45cm diameter x 25cm high
• Compact box for easy storage, measuring 1480mm x 500mm x 105mm and weighing 16 kilos
• The top ring is manufactured with a Duplex Shade Ring (110mm diameter) which needs a Shade Carrier to connect with UK and Euro lampholders
• Required covering size is 775mm wide x 352mm high
• Includes professional lampshade making components which meet all relevant and required safety standards
• Includes both Tesa and Seamstick double-sided tape

• 30 x 20cm Lampshade ring epoxy coated with duplex fitting
• 30 x 45cm Lampshade ring epoxy coated
• 30 x Flat-packed Self-adhesive lampshade panel, includes 13mm kiss cut
• 2 x 50 metre roll of 9mm Tesa Tape (to apply to rings)
• 1 x 25 metre roll of 10mm Seamstick Double-sided tape (to apply to seams)
• 30 x Rolled Edge tool for finishing
• 1 x Instruction sheet A4 printed in full colour

Shade Carriers & Spider Fittings
For use as a table lamp, connect a Shade Carrier to your lamp base, which the duplex ring of the Empire lampshades will sit on. We recommend a 4” Shade Carrier for this size of lampshade.

For use as a pendant ceiling lamp use a standard Spider Fitting to connect the lampshade to the lamp holder on the electric cable.

Shade Carriers have advantages over fixed, fitted frames, such the ability to adjust the height the lampshade on the lamp base, easy access to the bulb and for cleaning.

Tape choices

If you prefer Soft Furnishing Bond Tape or Tesa Tape for your seams instead of Seamstick please choose your alternative tape in options above.

What type of lamp holders and fittings will fit this lampshade?
By using a Shade Carrier or Spider Fitting, in conjunction with the Duplex Ring your lampshade will fit UK and Euro Lampholders.

Harp & Finial Fittings

Mainly used in the USA, our Empire lampshade making kits can be converted to Harp & Finial fittings by purchasing our Duplex Converting Kit.

Bulb Advice
We recommend the use of low energy bulbs with your lampshades, which are cool to the touch, avoiding the problem of scorching shades and ceilings.
