30cm x 130cm High - Floor Lamp Base Making Kit

Our Lamp Base Kit gives you the creative opportunity to design and make a floor lamp base using your covering of choice.
This DIY creative kit makes a 30cm diameter x 130cm tall lamp base. 

Simply add your handmade Lampshade and your electrical fitting, and your floor lamp is complete.

Lampshade Requirements
We recommend using a 70cm Drum shape lampshade using one of our Lampshade Making Kits, but you can select the size and shape as you wish. 

If you're not using one of our Lampshade Making Kits, your lampshade must have a utility Euro fitting.
To ensure compatibility, use a frame manufactured by us, so it has the correct drop.

You can also use a lampshade with a duplex ring fitted and then use the appropriate shade carrier to connect the Lampshade and Lampbase

Electrical Requirements
Primary Electrical Assemblies are available to fit these table and floor lamp bases, consisting of an E27 Lampholder, Foot Switched Cable and UK or EU Socket Plug. You can select them in the options above and related items, 

However, with the extensive choice of fashionable electrical components available, including fabric cables, you can design your own to match your interior or requirement. These are the components you will need if you are making your own

* UK (3pin) or EU (2pin) Mains Plug

What size will my cover need to be?
Your covering must be 1350mm wide x 1000 mm to cover the supplied self-adhesive Stick-It ® panel.

Bulb Advice
We recommend the use of low-energy bulbs with your lamp base. They use less energy and are cool to the touch, avoiding the problem of scorching shades and ceilings. Maximum 60 watt
