Our kit makes you a professional 30cm Oval Lampshade from the covering of your choice, that can be used as a Pendant (ceiling), or with a suitable Table Lamp.

What size will my covering need to be?
Your covering needs to be 872mm wide x 246mm to cover the self-adhesive panel supplied.
What type of lamp holders will fit this lampshade?
The frame is manufactured to fit European lamp holders, and a Converter/Reducer Adaptor plug is supplied fitted to reduce the aperture
so it can fit UK lamp holders.

Harp & Finial Fittings
If you wanted to use the frame with a Harp & Finial fittings, used mainly in the USA, then you can use converting washers with our adaptor (purchased separately) to reduce the aperture further. For more details about the Converter / Adaptor system, click here.

Bulb Advice
We recommend the use of low energy bulbs with your lampshades. They use less energy and are cool to the touch, avoiding the problem of scorching shades and ceilings.

Diffuser
Why not add a diffuser to your frame. Very stylish the diffuser sits underneath the shade when it is used as a pendant, covering the bulb and diffusing the light. Easy to install sits on the ledge of the bottom ring.
We have two different types available for ovals, Translucent and Textile.

The self-adhesive panel supplied with the kit is White, for an extra bit of pizazz use a metallic liner.
