30cm Hexagon Lampshade Frame

These frames are used to make hardback (rigid) Hexagon lampshades.
They are easy to make using straight panels as they curve around the six sides to give a contemporary finish.

The frames will connect with UK and European Lampholders or Pendant Fittings. Frames can also be used with USA Harp & Finial fittings, by using our converting washers.

What type of lamp holders will this frame fit?
The frame is manufactured to fit European lamp holders, and a Converter/Reducer Adaptor plug is supplied fitted to reduce the aperture
so it can fit UK lamp holders.

If you wanted to use the frame with a Harp & Finial fittings, used mainly in the USA, then you can use converting washers with our adaptor (purchased separately) to reduce the aperture further. For more details about the Converter / Adaptor system, click here.

Rounded Corners
Not only are these stylish new shapes but they are easy to make using panels without creased corners.
The panel curves around the frame, so you don't need to use a panel with creases/folds at the corners, you can use straight panels.

Epoxy coated / Painted White (prevents oxidising)

How much material do you need / panel size
The length of your panel needs to be 1046mm wide to go around the circumference of the frame, which includes (15mm) allowance for the overlap/seam.

Notes
Rings will have a tiny uncoated spot where the ring has been hooked for spraying, and this is not a fault

Lampshade Panels
We can also supply Self Adhesive Lampshade panels to go with the ring; we offer four heights for this frame, 150mm, 200mm, 250mm and 300mm.
 

Diffuser
Why not add a diffuser to your frame. Very stylish, the diffuser sits underneath the shade when it is used as a pendant, covering the bulb and diffusing the light. Easy to install sits on the ledge of the bottom ring. We have two different styles available White Foamex with die-cut and Translucent Polypropylene.
 

Harp & Finial Fitting - Converting Washers
