Translucent polypropylene allows light through, but it is NOT see through like transparent.
The diffuser is used to diffuse and spread the light from a lampshade.
This is especially useful if your lampshade is to be hung from a high ceiling, drawing the eye to the lampshade design rather than the inside of the bulb.
Can be used with Lampshade making Kits and our lampshade rings/framesets
Easy to install, sits on the bottom ring of the Lampshade.
