20cm Lamp Making Ringset - Circular

The utility ring features three legs, measuring 40mm high, that are fitted with rubber feet to protect furniture and floors, to make your DIY table or floor lamp completely self-supporting. Simply connect your EU or UK electrical assembly to create a beautiful handmade lamp!

• 1 x 20cm  Lampshade Plain Ring (for use as the top of your lamp)
• 1 x 20cm Lampshade Utility Ring with 40mm legs ( for use as the base of your lamp)
• 1 x E27/E26 to B22/E14 Lampshade Converter/Reducer Adaptor

Features

• Ringset is 20cm in diameter
• Utility ring used for the base has three 40mm high legs which are fitted with rubber feet
• For use with both EU and UK lampholders and electrical assemblies (lampholder, plug and switched cable)
• Used to make handmade ‘hard’ or ‘rigid’ drum or cylinder table and floor lamps 
• Epoxy coated in white paint to prevent oxidising
• Rings may have a tiny uncoated spot where the ring has been hooked for spraying
• Frames manufactured from 3.25mm Gauge Mild Steel Wire

What type of lamp holders will fit this lampshade?

The frame is manufactured to fit European lamp holders and a Converter/Reducer Adaptor plug is supplied to reduce the aperture to fit UK lamp holders.

What else do I need to make a drum lampshade ?

• Self-adhesive Lampshade Making Panel pre-cut to size, corresponding with your diameter of ringset, available in 4 heights (150, 200, 250 and 300mm).

or

• Purchase a roll of Stick-It® Self-Adhesive Lampshade Making PVC and cut your own panel to size, with a length of 643mm, which includes 15mm for the overlap and with the height to be determined by you.
• 9mm Tessa Double-sided tape, to apply to the rings and seam 
• Rolled edge tool, for finishing the lampshade edges
• Fabric of your choice measuring 645mm wide x 220mm high
